Master Engineer: Eitri is legendary throughout the Nine Realms as a master blacksmith and forger, having forged Mjølnir, one of the most powerful weapons in the universe, stated by Odin to have "no equal".
Stormbreaker is an enchanted axe of Dwarvian manufacture, forged from Uru on Nidavellir with the ability to summon the Bifrost. Following Mjølnir's destruction, the weapon was forged by Thor in order to defeat Thanos.
In Infinity War, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) — accompanied by Groot and Rocket — travels to Nidavellir, where a new weapon is forged for him: an ax called Stormbreaker. The weapon comes courtesy of Eitri (Peter Dinklage), and it allows him to return to Earth just in time to help his friends in a battle in Wakanda.
In the films, Stormbreaker is Thor Odinson's primary weapon, following the destruction of Mjölnir at the hands of Hela Odinsdottir. The MCU design of the hammer itself greatly resembles the Mjölnir of the Ultimate comics, which also featured an axe on one end.
In a compromise, as Bill fairly won the battle, Odin had the Dwarves of Nidavellir create a new hammer made for the cyborg Korbonite warrior, crafted from the same Uru metal as Mjolnir. With the assistance of Eitri and other dwarf blacksmiths, they forged Stormbreaker.

WHO has lifted Mjolnir?
For unexplained reasons, Thor remains the only one able to lift the hammer in this universe despite Odin never shown enchanting it with the "worthy" spell. Mjolnir returns in Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) with Jane Foster wielding a reconstructed version of the hammer.
Its original proto-adamantium vibranium alloy is completely indestructible under normal circumstances. The proto-adamantium vibranium alloy can be broken with molecular and reality manipulation, but with the Uru metal, it is stronger than ever and it can be enchanted to be even more indestructible.
Many viewers have pointed out that Thanos was able to lift Stormbreaker without a problem, but this is because the axe isn't enchanted as Mjolnir is, and others believe Thanos lifted Mjolnir (although briefly) and have even argued that he would be worthy of doing so, but in reality, Thanos didn't even try to take the ...
Although Stormbreaker and Mjolnir have very similar properties and powers, Stormbreaker is the most powerful weapon wielded by Thor so far. The obvious reasons are that Stormbreaker is the physically larger weapon out of the two, and not to mention that it is an axe, which could well be more dangerous than a hammer.
In the many incarnations of the hero, his hammer, helmet, and cape are iconic and almost always present. This is also the case with some form of chest armor (with those huge round button things), and sometimes arm guards or gauntlets.
Thor's hammer Mjolnir was defined by the fact that only the 'worthy' could lift it – so basically no-one except the god of thunder (and Vision, for some reason). But when it comes to the weapon's replacement, Stormbreaker – which Thor forges in Avengers: Infinity War – Groot is able to lift it too.
In the MCU, Stormbreaker was forged by Eitri at the behest of Thor, as a weapon to use against Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet. In the comics, however, Stormbreaker was still made by Eitri, but pretty much everything else is different.
Stormbreaker is a name with some history at Marvel. In the comics it is a hammer created – like Mjolnir – by Odin. It was wielded by Beta Ray Bill, an alien warrior who was judged to be as worthy as Thor. The hammer has a slightly different design, but all the same powers as its fellow mallet.
In need of a new weapon after the events of Thor: Ragnarok, Thor used the Dwarven forge on Nidavellir to craft Stormbreaker. Due to both the nature of the weapon and Thor's attack on Thanos, Stormbreaker successfully powered through an energy blast from all six stones and dealt a near-lethal blow to Thanos.
During the final confrontation with an alternate Thanos, Captain America wielded the shield along with Mjølnir. Unfortunately, the shield was broken by Thanos' brute force with his Double-Edged Sword, leaving Captain America with a fractured shield.
Unlike adamantum, Magneto cannot manipulate vibranium – not if it's pure. Vibranium is a rare, extraterrestrial metallic ore. It has near-mystical properties that allow for energy manipulation and more. There is a Wakandan isotope and an Antarctic isotope, and both of them are completely unaffected by Magneto's powers.
The strongest and most durable object in the entire Marvel universe is none other than the shield of Captain America. It's so strong that scientists have spent decades just trying to copy it, which led to the development of adamantium, carbonadium and several other metals on this list. No one has come close to it yet.
Captain America's shield was able to pierce Ultron's third body thanks to the Vibranium. Ultron, in his prime body, was composed of Vibranium that make him practically unstoppable in battle. It intense energy beams from Vision through the use of the Mind Stone; to damage Ultron prime body.
